This lovely little mansion is the Stanton House. Really, it’s a huge turn-of-the-century beauty with a rap-around porch, the largest lights I have ever seen and just a really beautiful facade. Oh the stories I am sure it could tell. Stanton was an officer of the early Pacific Coast railway and his wife, Irene Josephine Dana, was one of eight children of the pioneer Dana family. I will, one day, do a post on the Dana Adobe, one of the oldest structures in the county. #LetsGoSLO
